College and Young Adults
Divine Rhythm is just around the corner! A college/young adult age spiritual renewal weekend. Divine Rhythm has become our generation’s version of Resurrection! Let Harrison know if you are interested. We need to have our group registered by Christmas. The Young Adult Sunday School Class is beginning a new study on Sunday, November 9. They will be studying Andy Stanley’s book, The Best Question Ever. Anyone is welcome to attend this discussion class led by Erbin and Ruth Baumgardner. They meet upstairs across from the Memorial Prayer Chapel. Adults Adult Fellowship Bring a covered dish and join us at 6:30 p.m. for Adult Fellowship in Ensminger Hall. Charlie and Charlene Myers will be the hosts on Monday, November 10. Julie, Jewell and Martha Ann will be the hosts on Monday, November 24. A short program will follow the meals. 50+ Lunch Meeting Tuesday, November 18, in Ensminger Hall at Noon for lunch. Come and enjoy lunch at a cost of only $3.00. A Turkey for Thanksgiving? Let the Horizon’s Class do
the cooking for you. Once again we will be smoking whole
turkeys and turkey breasts for pick-up on Thanksgiving
morning at 11:00 a.m. at the church. The cost will be $25.00
for a whole or a breast. Orders will be taken each Sunday
morning at “doughnut church” beginning November 2 or you
may call Susan Buttram at 745-9372 or the church office. The
last day to order a turkey will be Sunday, November 23. Community
Thanksgiving Dinner Don’t forget that Keith Memorial will once again be hosting a dinner for the community on Thanksgiving Day. If you would like to make a salad or dessert, please contact Mildred Prince or Kathy Robinson. Also, folk will be needed to help prepare food, set-up, serve and clean-up.
