In addition to a variety of Adult Sunday School
Classes, Keith Memorial UMC offers many other opportunities for
study, and for fellowship. Our adult/family coordinators are
Dwight and Jennifer Jordan, who can be contacted for questions or
suggestions. Some of the ongoing events include:
ADULT BIBLE STUDY:
Disciple Bible Study Classes: Currently
there are two sections of the Bible Study Disciple: Becoming
Disciples Through Bible Study, offered on Tuesday evening and on
Wednesday morning. Disciple is a 34 week study of the entire
Bible, with an emphasis upon fellowship in prayer and study, and
commitment in discipleship. The purpose of the study is
"to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up
the body of Christ." (Ephesians 4:12)
Grand Sweep Bible Study: On Thursday
mornings at 10:30 a Bible Study entitled "Grand Sweep: 365 Days
from Genesis through Revelation" is offered. Participants
read the entire Bible over the course of 52 weeks, using a daily
study guide.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study: On Tuesday
mornings at 10:30 a group of older adults gather for Bible Study.

OPPORTUNITIES
Keith Family Suppers: “Wacky
Wednesday PM- Every Wednesday evening during the school year, supper
is served in the Activity Center at 5:15 p.m. The cost of the meal,
prepared by the church hostess, is $4 for adults, $2.50 for children
over 2, with a family maximum of $15. At 6 p.m. the children are
dismissed to choir, Bible study, and games. The Jr. and Sr. High
Bible Studies are also at 6 p.m. There is a Bible study as well for
adults, and the intercessory prayer group meets in the Memorial
Chapel. Come join us!”
Keith Dinner for Eight: Several
families participate in one of our "supper clubs" which
meet monthly. Eight people come together each month for supper
together, either at the church or at someone's home. This has
become an excellent way to get to know others in our congregation.

F-4: Family, Food, Fun, and
Fellowship takes place on the fourth Friday evening of each month,
with a variety of family-centered events planned. Sometimes
events are scheduled at the church, and sometimes other outings are
planned, but always it is a great evening!
SPECIAL FAMILY EVENTS PLANNED
Keith Family Picnic: A picnic for the
entire church, usually held at Athens Regional Park on the last
Sunday of September.
Keith Family Retreat: An overnight
retreat planned for the fall of the year, when individuals from the
Keith family can join together for worship, recreation, and
enjoyment of God's creation. Watch here for plans for this
